Mario Dalpra, born 1960 in Feldkirch, Vorarlberg, is a multi-talented artist.  In Vienna, where he has lived for a long time, he studied from 1982 with Arnulf Rainer and ever since practices his versatile talents as a painter, draftsman, sculptor, filmmaker and performance artist. 

Versed in all technical disciplines, he now works mostly in narrowly defined series in order to optimally explore combinations and experiment over open artistic concerns.  Dalpras work has a creative energy and specific handwriting which displays a balance of organic growth and precisely planned elements.
